The Fairfax County school voted to comply with Gov. Glenn Youngkin's request, and mandate that all in-state students pay the same tuition every year, the website said.
GMU is Virginia's largest public school and charges in-state students $13,000 for tuition and fees, along with another $13,000 for room and board, Richmond.com said.
